Nickel enriched iron artefacts from Bohemia and Moravia.
Original language description
Fourteen archaeological iron objects containing nickel and sometimes cobalt enriched structural phases have been identified in the Czech Republic. These finds seem to be interesting from point of view of material and technology used. Their further research should be focused on the questions whether the nickel-enriched iron was used deliberately and if the nickel-rich iron ores are or not typical of Czech Republic (or more generally of Central Europe) than of other parts of Europe.
