The Church of the Virgin Mary at Prague Castle (Bohemia). Archaeology revised
Original language description
Revision of the documentation confirmed the existence of the church in two building phases. Only part of the interior with tomb with the burial of Prince Spytihněv I and his wife survived from the older one. The younger church was first built in the advanced 11th century. The burial ground around the church existed from the later 10th century until the beginning of the 13th century. The outlying position of the church in the area of Prague Castle remains unclear.
