Original language description
Church of St. Wenceslas in Žabonosy is an important monument of Romanesque and Gothic architecture. Archaeological research revealed the predecessors of the standing church in the form of a one-nave church (11th century), which was subsequently expanded into a three-nave basilica. It was replaced in the 12th century by a one-nave church with a tower and gallery, which is still partly standing.
