The Bohemian Forest is one of the biggest mountain and forested regions in Central Europe. Its area and the variability of stands offer a very great diversity of environment for cyanobacteria and algae. The paper presents the basic data about species richness of principal stands as brooks, bogs, cryoseston, aerophyts and subaerophyts.
