Original language description
The results of this research confirm the positive effect of grass cover on the soil environment. Higher accummulation of nitrogen in plant matter coincides with lower contents of leached nitrogen in lysimetric waters. Consequently, the stands of grasseswere demonstrated to reduce the acidification of soil solution and leaching of basic cations (Ca2+, Mg2+) from soil.

Czech description
Výsledky výzkumu ukázaly na positivní vliv travinného porostu na půdní prostředí. Větší akumulace dusíku v rostlinné hmotě se shodovala s nižším množstvím dusíku vyplaveného do lyzimetrických vod. Travinné porosty tak mohou snižovat kyselost půdního roztoku i vyplavování bazických kationtů (Ca2+, Mg2+) z půdy.
