Original language description

The genus Cryptadelphia (Trichosphaeriales) is described for the presumed teleomorphs of six species of the dematiaceous hyphomycete genus Brachysporium. Zigno.delta.lla groenendalensis is transfered to Cryptadelphia. Cryptadelphia abietis, C. brevior, C. obovata, C. pendulispora and C. polyseptata, with their anamorphs, are describes and illustrated.
