Original language description

The distributions of the tetraploid Anthoxanthum odoratum and the diploid A. alpinum was studied in the Krkonoše Mts. (part of the Sudetes Mts.) to find out the transition zone between them and their ecological requirements there. The distribution was studied at two spatial scales, the geographic one and at the locality level with respect to detailed distribution and relationships to plant communities. The zone is situated in the altitudes ranging from 800 m to 1290 m., A. alpinum is able to descend tolower altitudes as well, where it can be found in stands with dominant Nardus stricta. Common localities are fine mosaic of plant communities of Polygono-Trisetion (with A. odoratum) and Nardion (with A. alpinum) or Nardo-Agrostion tenuis (with both species). A. alpinum occurs also in areas without present-day direct contact with alpine and subalpine vegetation (the Rýchory ridge, Černá hora Mt.).

Czech description

V Krkonoších bylo studováno rozšíření tetraploidního druhu Anthoxanthum odoratum a diploidního A. alpinum s cílem nalézt zónu překryvu výskytů obou druhů a jejich ekologické nároky v této oblasti, a to na dvou prostorových škálách: krajinné a na úrovni lokalit s ohledem na detailní rozšíření obou druhů a vazbu na rostlinná společenstva. Oblast společného výskytu leží v nadmořské výšce od 800 do 1290 m, A. alpinum sestupuje ojediněle i do nižších poloh, kde se vyskytuje v trávnících s dominantní Nardus stricta. Společné lokality jsou jemnou mozaikou společenstev svazů Polygono-Trisetion (s A. odoratum), Nardion (s A. alpinum) a Nardo-Agrostion tenuis (s oběma druhy). A. alpinum se též vyskytuje v oblastech, které v současnosti nemají přímý kontakt s alpinskou a subalpinskou vegetací (Rýchorský hřeben, Černá hora.).
