The influence of the slug Arion lusitanicus was assessed at four levels of plant biodiversity. The biomass of control plots was compared with the biomass in grazed plots. Significant interaction between the number of species and slug grazing was found, indicating a gradual decrease in the effect of grazing pressure with increased plant species richness.

Vliv okusu plzáka Arion lusitanicus byl studován ve čtyřech hladinách rostlinné bohatosti. detekována byla signifikantní interakce okusu herbivora a počtu druhů, což indikuje, že tlak herbivora klesá s rostoucím počtem druhů ve společenstvu.
