Intracellular colonization of Rhododendron and Vaccinium roots by Cenococcum geophilum, Geomyces pannorum and Meliniomyces variabilis
Original language description
All three fungal species colonize ericaceous plants intracellularly. Colonization by G. pannorum and Meliniomyces variabilis resembles ericoid mycorrhiza. C: geophilum stimulates rooting and overall growth of ericaceous plantlets in vitro.
Czech name
Vnitrobuněčná kolonizace kořenů Rhododendron a Vaccinium houbami Cenococcum geophilum, Geomyces pannorum a Meliniomyces variabilis
Czech description
Všechny tři houby vnitobuněčně kolonizují vřesovcovité rostliny. Kolonizace houbami G. pannorum a M. variabilis připomíná erikoidní mykorhizu. C. geophilum stimuluje zakořeňování a celkový růst vřesovcovitých rostlin in vitro.
