Differences in the effects of three arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal strains on P and Pb accumulation by maize plants
Original language description
Three G. intraradices isolates stimulated to varying degrees the growth of maize plants when grown in a contaminated substrate. Moreover, AM inoculation decreased shoot Pb concentrations. Root segments intensively colonised with AM fungi contained significantly higher concentrations of phosphorus and lead than non-colonised ones, which suggests significant participation of fungal structures in element accumulation.
Czech name
Rozdílný vliv třech izolátů arbuskulárních mykorhizních hub na akumulaci fosforu a olova rostlinami kukuřice
Czech description
Tři izoláty G. intraradices izolát podporovaly různou měrou růst kukuřice v kontaminovaném substrátu a snížily koncentrace Pb v nadzemní biomase. Kořenové segmenty intenzovně kolonizované AM houbami obsahovaly signifikantně vyšší koncentrace P a Pb než segmenty nekolonizované, což svědčí o roli AM houbových struktur v akumulaci prvků.
