The text part includes treatment of fossil material, explanation of terms, amended classification and a brief key and descriptions. The description part encompass morphological characters and features of frustules, brief ecology and possibly remarks to particular taxa. 13 taxa of the genus Melosira Agardh, 20 taxa of the genus Aulacoseira Thwaites including descriptions of 3 new species and 4 new combinations, and 1 taxon of the genus Miosira Krammer, Lange-Bertal. & Schiller are presented in this part.In the picture part there are presented 797 figures in 73 tables. The publication serves as an aid in limnological research and ecological monitoring, and as an aid for determination of fossil diatoms in paleogeology.

Atlas sladkovodních centrických rozsivek se stručným klíčem a popisy. Část II. Melosiraceae and Aulacoseiraceae (dodatek k Části I)

Czech description

Textová část zahrnuje zacházení s fosilním materiálem, vysvětlení termínů, rozšířenou klasifikaci, stručný klíč a popisy. Popisná část obsahuje morfologické znaky schránek, stručnou ekologii a případně poznámky k jednotlivým taxonům. V této části je uvedeno 13 taxonů rodu Melosira Agardh, 20 taxonů rodu Aulacoseira Thwaites včetně 3 nových druhů a 4 nových kombinací, a 1 taxon z rodu Miosira Krammer, Lange-Bertal. & Schiller. V obrazové části je prezentováno 797 obrázků v 73 obrazových tabulích. Publikace slouží jako pomůcka pro potřeby limnologického výzkumu a ekologického monitoringu, a jako pomůcka pro určování rozsivek v paleogeologii.
