Original language description
The paper describes a freshwater subfossil centric diatom species and is a contribution to taxonomy and systematics of diatoms. It brings the species frustule ultrastructure to distinguish it from other similar taxa. Comparison of its morphology and ecology with other recent and subfossil taxa is discussed, too.
