The importance of arbuscular mycorrhiza for Cyclamen purpurascens subsp. immaculatum endemic in Slovakia
Original language description
Inoculation with native arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi accelerated growth of Cyclamen purpurascens subsp. immaculatum and significantly increased all growth parameters (shoot dry weight, leaf number and area, number of flowers, tuber, and root dry weight)and P uptake. Cyclamen populations from Veľká Fatra Mts. and Nízke Tatry Mts. grown in their native soils, however, differed in their response to inoculation depending on the origin of fungi used for the inoculation.
