Many carnivorous plant species are reported to grow in neutral or even slightly alkaline soils. In the paper, soil pH values at microsites of 15 terrestrial carnivorous plant species or subspecies are reported at their sites in SW Europe. The median pH values range from 4.21 to 8.04.
