Original language description
Photosynthetic activity of Vaucheria sp. microbial mats was evaluated in polar summer during two polar summers. The microclimatic data revealed small difference in air temperature and the photosynthetically active radiation (PAR). PAR was found as the main driver of the photosynthetic activity.
