Trimmatothelopsis serpentinicola (Acarosporaceae), a rare species from northern California, U.S.A.
Original language description
The new species Trimmatothelopsis serpentinicola, was collected by Tom Carlberg in northern California on weathered peridotite in serpentine chaparral. Catastrophic fire and post fire management devastated the type area and annihilated the type population. The species is currently only known from a small holotype.
