Interpreting Davidson.
Original language description
The book deals with central topics of Donald Davidson's philosophy, like his project in the theory of meaning and interpretation, his externalist epistemology, theory of action, his account of mental content etc. It includes Davidson's paper Externalisms, contributions of thirteen contemporary analytic philosophers (among them J. McDowell, P. Horwich, S. Neale, E. Lepore and B. Ramberg) and Davidson's replies to their criticism. The book is based on the Karlovy Vary symposium organized in 1996 by the Philosophical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
