Original language description
The reviewer appreciates this book on numerals as an important contribution to our understanding of variation found in this universal linguistic component and universal human activity. Its results have been achieved by a well applied combination of the historico-comparative analysis with the general comparative methods defining types of numeric systems and showing possible semantic sources of linguistic expressions of numbers.
