Phenomenology and Interdisciplinarity
Original language description
Is a collaboration between phenomenology and non-philosophical, especially empirical, fields of knowledge an occasion for phenomenology to develop its potential and express its vitality, or rather does it represent a risk or even an unjustified excess and a violation of its most distinctive methodological principles? The main aim of the chapter is to present several distinctions that should help us take a more flexible and all-embracing approach to the question of the justification, potentials and limits of interdisciplinary collaborations with phenomenological philosophy.
