Original language description
Philosophy of Mind belongs among the most flourishing disciplines of philosophy. Its topics cover the the nature of mind and mental states, psycho-physical dualism, phenomenality, intentionality etc. These topics have been discussed in the traditional philosophy as well – e.g. by Descartes, Leibniz, Hume, Kant, Bretnato, Husserl and others. The goal of the workshop is to get together researchers coming from both the history of philosophy and philosophy of mind from Czech Republic and Israel and discuss the relevance of the classical discussions of mind for the contemporary philosophy of mind.
