Constructing the Apocalypse. Connections between English and Bohemian Apocalyptic Thinking
Original language description
The article considers the Hussite apocalyptic texts and the interconnection between Hussite and Lollard apocalyptic thinking represented here by the commentary to Revelation called Opus arduum valde. This relation seems to be a very important aspect with regard to creating the complex of Hussite radical ideology. It is an analysis of manuscripts containing a reduced version of Opus arduum (when compared to a genuine one, all of Bohemian origin) that stand in the centre of attention.
