Play in Performance Philosophy
Original language description
The goal of the chapter is to investigate the function of play as a form, method, or genre within the performance philosophy field. It understands performance, philosophy, and play as conceptual agents whose meaning is generated in their relational constellation, through their use, and in their impact. The chapter does not focus on explicating the essence of play, but reflects how performance philosophy acts if regarded through the lens of play, how does philosophy change through the ludic experience in performance. These issues are investigated within the act of play, rather than from an isolated, distanced position.
