The workshop’s main objective was to investigate the new descriptions of human existence in French phenomenology according to which humans are being transformed by their encounters with the transcendent “face of nature”. The workshop aimed to provide fundamental elements for a new phenomenological ethics in relation to nature, and to contribute to eco-phenomenology.
