Original language description
The article focuses on history of scholarly interest in collecting, studying and publishing Johannes Amos Comenius’s correspondence. It describes the beginning of systematic research and the first pioneering editions of Comenius’s letters and continues with an overview of further editorial efforts. Last but not least, it discusses international cooperation within the context of recent digital correspondence projects and summarizes new findings related to the first volumes of the critical edition of Comenius’s correspondence in the Johannis Amos Comenii Opera Omnia.
