The article redefines connections between historiography and historical bibliography as two equal disciplines in service of understanding the human past. Bibliographers together with historians should be producing continuous critically evaluated evidenceof basic historiographical outputs in the form of annotated bibliographies and thorough bibliographic background of historical and universal encyclopedias.
