A brief outline of the active life of Jews in the Czech lands with an emphasis on the 20th century, including the Second World War, which tragically marked the Jewish community. Shortly after the Munich dictatorship of September 1938, however, Czechoslovak Jews became actively involved in the anti-Nazi resistance at home and outside the fragmented territory of Czechoslovakia.nTheir participation was significant, especially in Czechoslovak military units abroad.
