Original language description
The objective of this paper is thus to provide a comprehensive survey and analysis of the use of Hebrew type at non-Jewish Bohemian printing houses in 1501-1700. It showed, that these non-Jewish Hebraica are unique in one regard: Christian printers in Prague systematically let themselves be inspired by the typograpic material used by parallel operating Prague´s Jewish printing houses.
