We analyze financial system development in the Visegrad Four countries during 1993-2005 in order to assess whether there is a common pattern of structural change, whether banks lose importnace in the process of economic transformation and whether these four financial systems have become more similar.

Czech description
Analyzujeme vývoj finančního systému zemí visegrádské čtyřky během let 1993-2005, abychom posoudili, zda existuje společné schéma strukturální změny. zda banky ztrácejí důležitost v procesu ekonomické transformace, a zda se staly tyto čtyři finanční systémy podobnější.
