Original language description

This study assesses whether better pollution control, as measured by lower air pollutant emissions has effect on corporate financial performance in a transition economy. The analytical results indicate that better pollution control neither improves nor undermines financial success.

Czech description

Studie zjišťuje, zda lepší prevence znečištění prostředí, měřená nižšími emisemi v ovzduší, má vliv na finanční výkonnost podniku v tranzitivní ekonomice. Výsledky ukazují, že lepší prevence znečištění ani nezlepšuje, ani nezhoršuje finanční úspěch firmy.
