Original language description
This chapter focuses on the differences relating to the labour market with particular attention given to job characteristics. On the one hand, the purpose is to find reflections of the transition process and its effects on the current 50+ populations inthe Czech Republic and Poland. On the other hand, we identify potential features of the labour market which could be of interest to policy makers. Our analysis is based on the SHARE data collected in 2006/07. We compare the Czech Republic and Poland with15 EU countries.
