No Isochores in the Human Chromosomes 21 and 22?
Original language description
We found that(G+C) content variations are much larger along the DNA molecules of human chromosomes 21 and 22 compared to the randomized nucleotide sequences, but essentially the same as in the Escherichia coli genome. This result contradicts the widely accepted notion that the human genome is composed of the isochores where the (G+C) content is homogeneous.
