    Adamantyle dipeptide (AdDP) protect mice against irradiation when administered s.c. 24h before lethal gamma-irradiation. Incorporation of AdDP in liposomes (L-AdDP) significantly improved radioprotective effect of AdDP and recovery of the pool of granulocyte-macrophage haemopoietic progenitor cells (GM-CFC) in a broad application time window (72h before and 48h after irradiation). L-AdDP significantly increased non-specific immunity against Candida albicans infectious model. L-AdDP could be therapeutically beneficial to moderate the haemopoietic damage and induce non-specific immunity to support the antimicrobial treatment of immunocompromised patients.Adamantyle dipeptide (AdDP) protect mice against irradiation when administered s.c. 24h before lethalgamma-irradiation.
