Effect of photodynamic therapy with hypericin was modulated by pretreatment with 12 various inhibitors of arachidonic acid metabolism - NDGA, esculetin, AA-861, MK-886, baicalein, diclofenac, flurbiprofen, ibuprofen, indometacin, SC-560, rofecoxib, proadifen. Some of these inhibitors proved to be effective as stimulators of photodynamic therapy effeciency.

Účinek fotodynamické terapie s hypericinem byl modulován preinkubací s 12 inhibitory různých metabolických drah přeměny kyseliny arachidonové - NDGA, esculetin, AA-861, MK-886, baicalein, diclofenac, flurbiprofen, ibuprofen, indometacin, SC-560, rofecoxib, proadifen. Některé z těchto inhibitorů se ukázaly jako stimulátory účinku fotodynamické terapie.
