Evidence for degeneration of the Y chromosome in the dioecious plant Silene latifolia
Original language description
We compared homologous genes located on young sex chromosomes in Silene latifolia. We found that Y-linked genes contain more repetitive elements in their introns than X-linked genes. The Y-linked genes also showed lower expression level.

Důkazy degenerace chromozómu Y u dvoudomé rostliny Silene latifolia
