Structure and epigenetic of nucleoli in comparison with non-nucleolar compartments

  • Original language description

We provided summary of knowledge about epigenetics of nucleoli that is compared with epigenetics of the rest of genome. We discussed differences and similarities in epigenetic regulation of transcription of ribosomal genes and mRNA genes. We also discussed architecture of rDNA genes and loci encoding mRNA.
