Application of SPMDs for PAH sampling in the DEZA chemical factory.

  • Original language description

SPMDs (Semipermeable Membrane Devices) were utilised for the monitoring of PAHs in the area of the DEZA chemical plant and in its vicinity. The devices were deployed in air, water, and soils. The passive samplers were succesfully used in some places inside the factory where active air sampling methods could not be used due to safety or space reasons.
