Original language description
A rapid and very efective separation of carrier-free 90Y in the aqueous phase of the water/nitrobenzene systém from an 90Y/90Sr generator is proposed. After a two-stage extraction separation, the radionuclide impurity of 90Sr in the final aqueous phase containing carrier-free 90Y is approximately 10-16, while the chemical yield of 90Y in this phase is practically 100.
