The electrophoetic investigation of both species evidenced their purity and expected chirality. The bonding to the nido-7,8-dicarbaundecaborate cluster does not meaningfully affect basicity of the nitrogen atom in the exo-skeletal 2'-pyridyl.

Elektroforetické studium klastrového aniontu boru [7-(2'-pyridyl)-nido-7,8-dikarbaundekaborátu]- a zwitteriontového produktu jeho protonizace.
Czech description
Elektroforetické studium obou látek prokázalo jejich čistotu i očekávanou chiralitu. Vazba na nido-7,8-dikarbaundekaborátový klastr nemění významně bazicitu dusíku v exo-skeletálně vázaném 2'-pyridylu.
