Mercury Speciation in Fish by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Post-Column Ultraviolet (UV)-Photochemical Vapor Generation (PVG): Comparison of Conventional Line-Source and High-Resolution Continuum Source (HR-CS) Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS)
Original language description
A combination of HPLC separation with post-column UV-photochemical generation and subsequent HR-CS AAS detection was optimized for mercury speciation analysis. Moreover, extraction procedure for speciation analysis of mercury in fish samples was developed and verified on certified reference materials.
