    Influence of T-stress on the rate of propagation of fatigue cracks.

    Two-parameter fracture mechanics is used to the description of the rate of propagation of fatigue cracks. The aim is to elucidate the experimentally observed effect of the speciemn geometry on the rate of propagation of a fatigue crack. The different levels of constraint are quantified by means of the T-stress.
