Interfacial and Microstructural Studies of New 9-12Cr-steels after Long-Term Aging.
Original language description
The interfacial and microstructural studies after tempering and long-term aging (steels 9Cr1MoVNbB and 10Cr1Mo1WVNbN) and relaxation strength tests (steel TAF650) were performed. Transgranular cleavage was found to be prevalent fracture mechanism of samples impact fractured at about -100 C. Portion of intergranular facets on analyzed fracture surfaces was extremely low. Low GB concentration of phosphorus (below 1 at.%) was detected in all experimental states. No boron was observed in the AES spectra ofthe investigated steels.
