On the mutual relation between thermodynamic interaction coefficients and the diffusion interaction coefficients.

  • Original language description

This contribution deals with the mutual relation of the thermodynamic interaction coefficients .epsilon. and the diffusion interaction coefficients .beta.. For the given welded joints of steels P2V and P3/V with the chemical composition in wt. : steel P2(0.48Mn, 2.20Cr, 1.29Ni, 0.59Mo, 95.44Fe (ba1)), steel P3 (0.98Mn, 18.33Cr, 9.35Ni, 71.34Fe (ba1)), steel V (0.66Mn, 0.09Cr, 0.05Ni, 0.004Mo, 2.34Si, 96.856Fe (ba1)), the thermodynamic interaction coefficients .epsilon. and the diffusion interaction coefficients .beta. were calculated. The calculation was carried out on the basis of the original measurements of carbon redistribution in the welded joints of steels P2/V and P3IV. The welded joints of steels were annealed in the temperature range of 500 to 750 C with a temperature step of 50 C. The thermodynamic interaction coefficients .epsilon. were determined from the concentration discontinuity of carbon at the interface of the given welded joints of steels, whereas the diffusion inte
