Microstructural study of Ni-Al-Cr-Mo and Ni-Al-Cr-W alloys.
Original language description
The Ni-Al-Cr-X systems (X=Mo or W) were chosen as two model cases for commercial superalloys and studied after long term annealing at 1273 K by means of analytical electron microscopy. Besides the typical gamma and gamma prime phases, other phases (namely phase P in Ni-Al-Cr-Mo alloys and W-rich terminal phase in Ni-Al-Cr-W alloys) were found and identified.
