    In the present work we provide a fully quantitative TEM analysis, which shows that different Ni4Ti3 precipitate variants form close to and far from grain boundaries during stress assisted aging. We discuss how this type of heterogeneity can give rise tomultiple step martensitic transformations.

    Práce obsahuje výsledky kvantitativní TEM analýzy, které ukazují, že precipitace variant částic Ni4Ti3 je rozdílná v oblastech hranic zrn ve srovnání s precipitací uvnitř zrn. Je diskutován vliv heterogenní precipitace uvedeného typu na více-krokový průběh martenzitické transformace po žíhání slitiny za asistence tahového napětí.
