    Fatigue Lifetime of ADI from Ultimate Tensile Strength to Permanent Fatigue Limit

    S-N curve of ADI (austempered ductile iron) was obtained in the range of lifetime including low cycle fatigue domain and high cycle fatigue domain up to 10 million cycles. UTS is used as a limiting value of the curve. Symmetric push-pull fatigue and tensile tests were performed at room temperature on nodular cast iron .

  • Czech description

    Wöhlerova křivka životnosti litiny s kuličkovým grafitem byla získána v širokém rozmezí od nízkcyklové únavy až po 10 milionů cyklů. Mez pevnosti je použita jako limitní bod křivky. Litina s kuličkovým grafitem byla zatěžována v symetrickém cyklu s řízenou silou a tahová zkouška byla provedena při pokojkové teplotě.
