Analysis of potential factors influencing the relation between small punch and conventional creep test
Original language description
Study of potential factors that can influence the empirical relation between small punch test (SPT) under constant load conditions and conventional creep test has been done. This relation that was observed for several heat resistant steels can be influenced by SPT geometrical setup, boundary conditions as well as material properties that influence mainly the process and type of disc macroscopic damage. Some other additional factors such as role of surface friction are also discussed.
