The low cycle fatigue life in the ODS Eurofer steel and in two 14Cr ODS ferritic steels produced in the CEA was analysed. The Coffin-Manson curve was measured. Substantial differences in fatigue life were found. Surface relief observation after failure revealed places of crack initiation and its influence on fatigue life was explained. Small fatigue crack growth rate measurement was carried out in the ODS Eurofer steel and in one of the 14Cr ODS ferritic steels. It was determined that fatigue crack growin the 14Cr ODS ferritic steel is significantly faster than in the ODS Eurofer steel. All measured data are discussed and differences between particular steels are explained in relation to the Coffin-Manson plot.
