The study of precipitation strengthening of Ni-based superalloy prepared by powder metallurgy
Original language description
Polycrystalline Ni-based powder material superalloy with commercial name Saratherm 2 is an alloy that should provide excellent mechanical strength as well as resistance to creep, good surface stability, corrosion and oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Study superalloy has a matrix with an austenitic face-centered cubic structure, known as ?, consists of mainly nickel, chromium and cobalt. The excellent strength of Ni-base superalloys comes from their microstructure composed of strengthening cuboidal ?? (Ni3 Al based Ll2 structure) -precipitates coherently embedded in ? solid solution phase. This superalloy was used as grips of the creep machine. The material was exposed at 1100 ° C for about 10 days at 10 MPa stress. In order to supplement theresults of the study of precipitation strengthening with the information on precipitate morphology, microstructure evolution was studied in specimens after specified exposition. According to these results we can conclude that the most imp
