Fracture behaviour of ODS MA956 steel at elevated and high temperatures
Original language description
Fracture behaviour of oxide dispersion strengthened steel MA956 at elevated and high temperatures is presented. Tensile and fracture toughness tests in the temperature range from 200 to 700°C were performed. The micromechanism of fracture was characterized by fractographic analysis in scanning electron microscope and the dislocations structures under the fracture surfaces were observed in transmission electron microscope. The tensile properties and the fracture toughness properties decrease with increasing temperature. This effect is more pronounced above 400°C. It is connected with the change of fracture micromechanism caused by different dislocation mechanisms.
