EEG and Motor Reponses to Target Stimuli in an Oddball Paradigm: SEEG Recordings in Epileptic Patients.
Original language description
The analysis of visual event-related potentials (ERPs) recorded with depth electrodes can give us substantial information about temporal and spatial relationship of mental processes. Unfortunately, the localization of the electrodes in particular anatomical sites vary from patient to patient, which does not permit to average the obtained data. One of the most studied components of ERP, which can be identified in scalp-recorded EP as well as in intracerebral - recorded evoked potentials, is 'P3' or 'P300' component. The aim of this study was to analyze the temporal relationship between P3 subcomponents and motor response after target stimuli in a standard visual oddball paradigm.
